Personalised lessons planned around how your child learns. One to one and small group lessons for Year 6, KS3, GCSE and A Level, from a qualified teacher with 12 years of classroom experience.
Qualified secondary school maths teacher with 12 years in the classroom, now a full-time online tutor.
Every child I teach gets lessons planned for them, not pulled from a generic scheme. Two children seemingly identical on paper (same grade and target grade) can often need very different approaches. I always get to know your child and plan the learning around them.
This is also why I only group together students in small groups who I feel genuinely will work well together and benefit from similar approaches. They will not just be put in any group to fill them.
The other thing that matters just as much is whether a child feels comfortable with me, because a student who is relaxed will ask the questions they would never ask in class, and those are the ones worth asking. Parents often tell me their child has started to enjoy maths, which says more about the lessons than anything I could write here.

Grade 4 → Grade 6
GCSE Maths
"Amy has developed a real friendship with our daughter, allowing her to be open about her difficulties and progress quicker than we thought possible. My daughter now says she actually enjoys maths because Amy makes it fun. By finding the underlying cause of issues rather than relying on rote learning, Amy has been a significant advantage for our daughter who is dyslexic."
Grade A*
A Level Maths
"Despite a weak background in maths at GCSE, Amy's methodical teaching and simplified explanations helped me achieve an A* at A Level. Her lessons were so well-planned and thorough that I went on to study a Mathematics degree at University. I never hesitated to ask questions because her explanations always made things clear."
Grade E → Grade C
GCSE Maths
"Amy has taken a truly bespoke and compassionate approach, consistently going above and beyond to boost our daughter's confidence. Remarkably, she has even helped ignite a love for maths, something our daughter never had before! Thanks to Amy, we've seen fantastic progress in a very short period of time."

Lessons take place on Pencil Spaces, a professional interactive platform designed specifically for education. Unlike Zoom or Skype, this is a shared workspace where your child becomes an active participant rather than just a listener.
I can't stress how important it is that you choose a tutor your child gets on with and learns from. This is why I always offer a free trial lesson for you to see how my tutors and I teach before deciding to go ahead. I only want parents who feel completely happy and confident with the tutor they choose.
